Travel Abroad....
Ok...so I'm sitting here in Zermatt, Switzerland after a day of train travel followed by the gondola ride to the top of the mountains and walking back and forth through a mountain town, having wine and chocolate (yes RUNE, LOTS of chocolate!)....and I'm exhausted, but I wanted to put up a couple of pics... so here goes!
OK, here I am at our hotel and yes Mom, that is a Fodor's book in my hand! (Actually, it's Frommers)
This is in Zurich by our hotel

Zurich from the top of a church spire...I'll have you know I climbed 182 steps for this.

To borrow a line from David Nykl (for non SG fans, that's Zelenka in Atlantis) Joe Malozzi isn't the only one who posts pics of food in their blog! (JM being an SG writer/producer who blogs, loves food, chocolate and Sci Fi)
In any case, I just LOVED the continental breakfast at my hotel - because we had wonderful croissants, with CHOCOLATE spread!!! More on this when I'm not so tired...

Today we are looking at the Matterhorn in Zermatt! This is from the street.

This is on the way up to the top of the mountains...a side view of the Matterhorn from the gondola...
I have other wonderful pics from the top for another posting...
Final Pic of the day:

Hubs and I at 12,736 ft up. And yes, that's the Matterhorn in the back!
Now, it's time for bed! We get up early tomorrow to catch the train for Lucerne.
